Justin's birthday

For Justin's birthday we went to the water park and ate at Playa Azul Mexican restaurant. Dinner was yummy and we had a great time. Justin got to wear the sombrero and they sang a spanish birthday song. Just like when I remember. Justin got flan with whipped cream and than the boys shared a fried ice cream. mmmm Troy wanted to tr on the hat and Jamie was as photogenic as usual. lol lots of fun.

Puppy day 9

oh my gosh. This puppy is a riot. Every time we cook food she cries to be fed. She sleeps on her back and is just plain spoiled. Here is pics of her today in her basket.

The Rodeo

We took the kids to the rodeo and Troy and Justin got to participate in the calf scramble. The way it works is there is 10 calves 6 with pink ribbons on their tails. There is about 200 kids. The 6 kids that get the 6 pink ribbons off the calves tails win a prize. Troy was one of the 6 winners. He just out ran and out dove the others, I dont have pics but I have a couple pics of the longhorns. There is a pic of a truck that was being raffled off up on a crane. The third to last is a pic of the winners of the calf scramble but you cant see anyone really. We got free tickets and they were in the nosebleed section.

Justin Mean green team took 2nd place in the tournament out of 14 teams. not to shabby.

2 cows 1 hay ring.

Here is 2 cows with their heads stuck in the same slot. They took down the fence from their pasture. This pick is where they ended up in my yard. The owners were able to hacksaw through the hay ring and all ended well. The red one is actually a hereford bull.

THE BIG ONE

Here is the only fish we caught at Lake Tenkiller. After a couple months this fish was up to 25 lbs. LOL

The puppy is 7 days old

Here is an update on the puppy. Because there was only 1 puppy and all that milk moma dog got mastitis. This is when there is too much milk and it goes bad before it is consumed and causes an infection in the teets. Thus the milk becomes poisonous. So...puppy is on the bottle now....but she has started gaining weight. Due to the mastitis she wasnt eating and what she was eating was making her sick. She was loosing weght. I tell the boys to look in on their little sister. lol I find the boys asleep with her all the time. They will tell me that their little sister was lonely so they took her in the bed to sleep. Here are pics of her new bed in the basket. It is a stuffed lion. soo cute.

The puppy is still alive 2 days

My puppy is 2 days old and going strong. I dont have to bottle feed as you can plainly see there is plenty of milk. My puppy gets lost in all that teet. lol Today I let moma out and Justin was holding the pup because she gets lost on her own. He fell asleep and so did she. It was soo cute.

ITS A GIRL

Well today we had a puppy. Yes one puppy. A little fawn female.

Woodward water park slides

They have a few slides. they are pretty fun. There is an area for all ages. Even a kiddy area. There is lots of shady places but you have to get there early. Monday thru sat the hours are noon to 9pm. They are open on sunday but I cant remember the hours. The cost is 4 bucks for kids....all kids even infants. 5 bucks for adults...all adults even if you dont swim. There is a food pavilion with food and drinks...pretty pricey att 3 dollars for a water or pop. They say no food or drinks allowed from the outside but I saw a lot of drinks from the outside. Lifeguards look professional in their "lifeguard" suites. At the old pool some of the lifeguards wore bathing suites that barely fit much less stayed on. You couldnt tell them from other patrons. We will see how long it lasts. They are not as strict as when I was a guard. Lots of fun yesterday

woodward water park dump bucket

At the water park is this big bucket that fills up and than dumps all this water below. I tried to get some pics. The kids like to get under it and wait for the big dump. My kids were in there but you cant see'em for all the water.
